What is the difference between the first and secong law of thermodynamics?

The first law of thermodynamics (law of energy conservation) states that energy cannot be created or destroyed, only transferred or converted. The second law of thermodynamics states that the entropy (disorder) of an isolated system always increases over time, reflecting the tendency of systems to move towards thermodynamic equilibrium.

What is maximum inversion temperature?

The maximum inversion temperature is the highest temperature at which a substance can exhibit a negative molar heat capacity, meaning that as heat is added, its temperature decreases rather than increases. This phenomenon typically occurs in certain materials, particularly at low temperatures, and is linked to specific thermodynamic properties. At this temperature, the behavior of the system deviates from typical thermodynamic expectations, often leading to interesting physical properties and phase transitions.

What is a false statement about noble gases?

Noble gases are elements noted for extremely low electronegativity because of an outer valence that is complete. Therefore a false statement about Noble Gases would be that "Noble Gases have high electronegativity" or "Noble Gases are notorious for being extremely reactive elements."

What type of weather does cold front give us?

Low temperatures, Rain, Fog.

What is the maximum work obtainable from two bodies at temperatures T1 and T2 . i need derivation. pls help you out?

To obtain the maximum work/time (power) from two bodies at different temperatures, you have to put an "Ideal" Heat Engine between the two bodies. The Heat Engine works with the "Carnot Thermodynamic Cycle". The Heat Efficiency of the Carnot Cycle Engine is called "Carnot Efficiency" and it only depends on the Absolute Temperature of the two bodies. Absolute Temperature also known as Thermodynamic Temperature will be in Rankine degrees, oR, (U.S.C.S.), or Kelvins (I.S.). The Carnot Heat efficiency is given by; eff (%) = [1 - TL/TH] x 100 where TH and TL are the High and Low Thermodynamic Temperatures of the bodies. So if a given Carnot Efficiency turns out be of 35%, this means that from the heat given by the High Temperature body, 35% is converted to work and the rest is dumped to the Low Temperature body.

How much oral glucose can an emt give?

It depends on the patient. The first thing done is the EMT checks the patients blood sugar, then gives the glucose of the sugar is low. After about five minutes the EMT will recheck the sugar. If it is still to low they would give a second dose.

There is virually no risk of contracting HIV if you are caring for someone with HIV?

Generally speaking, the statement is true. If you give injections, clean blood, or do more than normal care, the risk is increased, but still low.

How the program statement and code are related?

A statement in your program is part of the code. In a low-level programming language, a statement will map directly to a single CPU instruction. In a high-level programming language, a statement is the smallest element of the language's syntax.

In a multistage amplifier input impedance is high and output impedance is low justify the statement?

no. input impedance is low & output impedance is high

How does the second law of thermodynamic help to explain the diffusion of a substance across a membrane?

The second law of thermodynamics states that systems tend towards increasing entropy and disorder. In the context of diffusion across a membrane, molecules move from an area of high concentration to low concentration, increasing the overall entropy of the system. This process increases the randomness and disorder, thus following the principles of the second law.

How and can you gather energy just by a light bulbs heat and light?

theoretically you could use the heat from the bulb to drive a thermodynamic cycle. The energy you would be able to generate would be so low, it wouldn't be worth it.

When a battery is connected across a high resistance in parallel with a low resistance more power is dissapited in the low resistance Is this statement true or false?

true

What is swatch's mission statement?

Swatch does not have an explicit mission statement but the nearest mission statement, which can be found in its annual reports, is which it vaguely says our mission is "to offer low cost, high quality, and accurate watch with synthetic material." The company's main target market is young people who generally buy low-cost but trendy watches.
