How are photosynthesis digestion alike?

If you mean respiration, they are reverse processes of each other (sort of).

What are the difference between photosythisis and cellular respiration?

First of all, photosynthesis can only occur in plants. Animals are incapable of performing this process. Cellular respiration ,however, can occur in both plants and animals. Ironically, the two processes are alike in a special way: the formula for cellular respiration is the exact reverse of the formula for photosynthesis. See the 'Related Questions' link on this page for the formulas. Photosynthesis is an anabolic process, whereas cellular respiration is a catabolic process. In other words, photosynthesis involves the synthesis of organic compounds while cellular respiration involves the breakdown of organic compounds. Although photosynthesis is anabolic and cellular respiration is catabolic, both processes require an input of energy at various stages. For example, during the first stage of cellular respiration, glycolysis, an input of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) is required in order to breakup glucose into two pyruvate molecules. It is important to note that during glycolysis, 4 ATP are produced for every 2 ATP used, resulting in a net gain of 2 ATP.

What do cellular rrespiration and fermentation have in common?

The reason that they alike is because they are both trying to produce ATP for your body, but if Cellular Respiration fails, then they resort to Fermentation to get the job done! Hope that that was helpful! Julian

The process of sorting things by how they are alike and how they are different is known as?

The process of sorting things by how they are alike and how they are different is known as classification. This involves categorizing items based on shared traits or characteristics to help organize them for easier understanding or analysis.

How are the processes of photosynthesis and cellular respiration?

they are alike because in photosynthesis plants create oxygen. cells use the oxygen that plants produce in cellular respiration to get cells oxygen.there for it makes a cycle. plants produce oxygen, cells take oxygen,we produce carbondioxide, plants use carbon dioxide in photosynthesis.

How are photosynthesis and resparation?

Photosynthesis and respiration are interconnected processes in living organisms. During photosynthesis, plants and some microorganisms convert sunlight into chemical energy, producing oxygen as a byproduct. In contrast, respiration involves the breakdown of organic molecules to release energy, using oxygen and producing carbon dioxide as a waste product. Together, these processes form a balance in the carbon cycle, with photosynthesis removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and respiration returning it.

How is digestion and respiration alike?

Digestion and Respiration are alike in term of the fact that in both of them oxidation of food take place.

They all have alike materials and rocky cores.

Is soundproofing and proofreading alike?

No, soundproofing and proofreading are not alike. Soundproofing refers to the process of reducing or blocking sound transmission, while proofreading involves checking and correcting written materials for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc.

How is photosynthesis and clorophyll alike?

Chlorophyll is used in photosynthesis. Chloroplasts is the organelle inside of the plant cell where photosynthesis occurs. Chlorophyll is the green pigment in chloroplasts that gives the plants their green color. They are alike because they are both in plant cells and both help plant cells to do what they do best.

How are chlorophyll and photosynthesis alike?

iN FACT THEY ARE NOT. Photosynthesis is a process by which plants get energy. therefore it is called the food making process for the plants(trees, whatever). Chlorophyll is a substance which facilitates this process, present in the leaves of the plants. This is what gives the leaves green color. To make food, plants need air (CO2), water and sunlight. Air can be absorbed by the leaves. Water can be absorbed by the leaves (vapor) as well as roots. Sunlight is trapped using the chlorophyll. This helps the trees get energy. Thus, chlorophyll is a substance present in the leaves. Photosynthesis is the process. The output of the process is Oxygen, which the tree emits after the process is completed. THEREFORE, it is an urge to protect these trees as they take in carbon dioxide and emit oxygen, during the process of photosynthesis.

How are photosynthesis and respirations are alike?

Answer: Davidmt1: They're opposites. Resperation takes in oxygen uses it to produce energy and then releases carbon dioxide. While photosynthesis draws in carbon dioxide uses it too produce energy then releases oxygen. So even though they both create energy their processes are opposites.
