To make a volcano without a water bottle it is best to get a kit. I have made one with a really tiny bowl, too, but it doesn't work as well without a bottle of some sort. It is easiest to get a step by step kit to help you with it.
INSTRUCTIONSFirst, you set a bottle in the center of a tray. I surrounded mine with a volcano mold, but you can use anything for the outside. You need a mold or some kind of form that slants down slightly, like a mountain or volcano. It takes a long time to dry.MATERIALSBottleTrayVolcano or mountain shaped moldClay, sand, or whatever you choose to make your volcano out ofTIPI know you need to make it around a bottle, but see if you can do that with a kit, because it is way easier.
You can make a volcano madel by using a milk jug and covering it with play dough or clay in the shape of a volcano and then put baking soda and vinigar inside the jug to cause a chemical reaction that makes it look like an exploding volcano.
To make a volcano project, you can use materials such as a plastic bottle, baking soda, vinegar, food coloring, and perhaps some clay or paper mache to create the volcano structure. The reaction between the baking soda and vinegar will create a bubbly "eruption" when combined in the volcano model.
materials required for making a model of volcano is a plastic bottle, baking soda, vinegar, paper , cardboard , red food colour and glue. Out of these u can create it easily.

a flat surface like a piece of cardboard for the platform and surround a water bottle with clay to form a mound but let the opening hole of the water bottle stay open. If you want you can add little trees surrounding the volcano. To make it erupt just put in the active ingredients in the water bottle and watch it explode! Some active ingredients are coke and mentos, or baking soda and vinegar.
You should only need a heaped teaspoon full.

* Water bottle * Tape * Water bottle * Tape * Heavy cardboard (2x2 feet) * Newspaper * Liquid starch * Bowl * Paint * Baking Soda * Vinegar * Food Coloring Step 1:Cut the top of the water bottle off. The top edge of the bottle is going to form the top of the volcano so check to see how much or little to cut off the bottle to make the volcano as tall as desired. Step 2:Tape the bottle to the center of the cardboard. Make sure that the bottle is secure since it will be acting as the temporary center of the volcano. Step 3:Create the form of the volcano. Crumple up the newspaper into rolls to make the base form of the volcano and secure it with the tape. Make sure everything is well taped so that it is secure. Step 4:Make the paper mache glue. In the large bowl, mix water and liquid laundry starch to make the paper mache mixture. Use about one cup of water to two cups of starch. Step 5:Tear the newspaper into strips about one inch long. The paper will be overlapped so make sure you have plenty of strips. Step 6:Dip the newspaper strips into the paper mache mixture. Make sure that they are wet completely. Run the paper gently through your fingers to remove the excess liquid. Step 7:Lay the paper mache strips onto the volcano form. Make sure the entire structure and the cardboard are covered. Be sure not to cover the opening to the bottle at the center of the volcano. This is where the lava will erupt. Overlap the paper to make a stronger form and smooth the newspaper from top to bottom gently with your fingers. This is the part kids really love. Step 8:Wait for the paper mache to dry completely. This should take only a few hours. Step 9:Decorate your volcano with the paint. Any materials can be used to make the volcano unique. Use DIET COLA and when your ready one MENTO'S MENT!!!!
Try to make your fingers very strong then open it with your fingers and look at it when you open it.
To make a homemade volcano, you will need a small plastic bottle, baking soda, vinegar, dish soap, and red food coloring. First, place the bottle on a tray or in a shallow container. Add a few drops of red food coloring and a squirt of dish soap into the bottle. Next, pour in some vinegar until the bottle is about one-third full. In a separate container, mix baking soda with a little water to create a paste. Quickly pour the baking soda mixture into the bottle and watch as the volcano erupts with fizzing lava. Remember to do this experiment in a well-ventilated area and have fun!
To make a volcano from recycled materials, you can use a plastic bottle as the core structure. Build a cone shape around it using cardboard or paper-mâché for the volcano's exterior. Once the structure is complete, fill the bottle with baking soda, vinegar, and food coloring to create the eruption effect. Finally, place your volcano on a tray to catch any overflow during the eruption.
It is unclear what it means to "help" a volcano, but water does tend to make eruptions more explosive.
To make a water filter using a water bottle, you can cut the bottom off a plastic bottle and fill it with layers of sand, gravel, and activated charcoal. Pour dirty water through the top of the bottle, and the filter will clean the water as it passes through the layers.
