Photosynthesis is when a plant gets energy from the sun and cell respiration is the process of using oxygen to release energy from food. So if I am right the answer is they work together during photosynthesis cell respiration happens. I have an question why when it is only I by its self it has to be capital letter, why can't it be just i with lower case? Please someone answer. My minecraft name is CappyDog. I am on mc.minealot.com a lot hope to see you there ;)

How does cellular respiration conserve matter?

Cellular respiration conserves matter by transforming organic molecules, such as glucose, into usable energy in the form of ATP while recycling their components. During this process, carbon atoms from glucose are released as carbon dioxide, which can be used by plants in photosynthesis, thus maintaining the cycling of matter in ecosystems. Additionally, the by-products of cellular respiration, including water and energy, are utilized by other organisms, further integrating the flow of matter within biological systems. Overall, cellular respiration exemplifies the conservation of matter through its continuous cycling and transformation within the biosphere.

What are 3 processes that sustain life on earth?

Photosynthesis, respiration, and nutrient cycling are three key processes that sustain life on Earth. Photosynthesis allows plants to convert sunlight into energy, respiration releases energy from food for living organisms, and nutrient cycling ensures that essential elements like carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus are recycled through ecosystems.

What does photosynthesis and cellular respiration have to do with matter cycling and energy flowing?

the photosynthesis produces molecules, while cellular respiration, breaks it down. An example is when I have sex with your mom and we have you, however she sucks my penis so much and I put it into her vag that we have more kids, then you hate it so you kill the other kids.

What process is associated with long term cycling of matter through the biosphere?

The long-term cycling of matter through the biosphere is associated with the process of the biogeochemical cycle. This process involves the movement of nutrients and elements like carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus between living organisms and the environment through processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, decomposition, and nutrient recycling. These cycles are essential for sustaining life on Earth.

Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are what processes?

Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are fundamental biochemical processes that convert energy in living organisms. Photosynthesis, occurring primarily in plants, algae, and some bacteria, converts sunlight into chemical energy stored in glucose using carbon dioxide and water. In contrast, cellular respiration is the process by which cells break down glucose in the presence of oxygen to release energy, producing carbon dioxide and water as byproducts. Together, these processes form a vital cycle of energy transformation and matter exchange in ecosystems.

How is matter cycled through an ecosystem and what processes are involved in this cycling?

Matter is cycled through an ecosystem through processes like photosynthesis, respiration, decomposition, and nutrient cycling. These processes involve the transfer of nutrients and energy between living organisms and their environment, ensuring that matter is continuously recycled and reused within the ecosystem.

What is true about the cycling of oxygen in a pond ecosystem?

In a pond ecosystem, oxygen is produced through photosynthesis by aquatic plants. This oxygen is used by aquatic organisms like fish for respiration. Decomposers in the pond break down organic matter, releasing nutrients and consuming oxygen in the process. This cycling of oxygen is vital for maintaining the balance of the pond ecosystem.

Describe the cycling of matter with an example?

The cycling of matter involves the movement of elements through various stages in the environment. For example, carbon is cycled through the atmosphere, plants, animals, soil, and oceans. Carbon is taken in by plants during photosynthesis, consumed by animals, released back into the atmosphere through respiration and decomposition, and returned to the soil through waste and decomposition.

What is The Example Of The Cycling Of Matter?

The cycling of matter refers to the continuous movement of elements and compounds through ecosystems, primarily through biogeochemical cycles such as the water cycle, carbon cycle, and nitrogen cycle. For instance, in the carbon cycle, carbon dioxide is absorbed by plants during photosynthesis, converted into organic matter, and then returned to the atmosphere through respiration, decomposition, and combustion. This process illustrates how matter is reused and recycled within the environment, supporting life and maintaining ecological balance.

What causes matter to cycle through the biosphere?

Matter cycles through the biosphere through various processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, decomposition, and nutrient cycling. These processes involve the movement of elements like carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and water between living organisms and the environment, ensuring that these elements are continuously recycled and reused by different organisms in the ecosystem.

How do the processes of photosynthesis and cellular respiration work togther?

Photosynthesis and cellular respiration are interconnected processes in living organisms. During photosynthesis, plants use sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen. This glucose is then used in cellular respiration by plants and animals to produce energy in the form of ATP, releasing carbon dioxide and water as byproducts which can be used in photosynthesis. This interdependence between the two processes demonstrates a continual cycle of energy and matter within ecosystems.

Give examples of energy matter exchange?

Photosynthesis in plants involves the conversion of sunlight (energy) into carbohydrates (matter). Respiration in animals involves the breakdown of carbohydrates (matter) to release energy in the form of ATP. Combustion of wood or fossil fuels releases energy in the form of heat and light.
