i have a ge profile prodigy electric dryer and its making horrible noise. i have discovered that this means the roller supports need to be replaced but when i open it up it doesnt look anything like the other brands of dryers (there wasnt a ge brand) on the inside. i am wondering if it actually has rollers or is it something else that supports the drum. i do see a plastic piece that goes completely around where the drum will rest when the front is put back on. is this what i need to replace?

When a washer is heated, the hole will expand in size due to thermal expansion. This means that the diameter of the hole will increase as the washer absorbs heat. Cooling the washer will cause the hole to contract back to its original size.
