1 cup of flour

2 tbsp sour yogurt

2 tsp sugar

1 tsp fennel powder

Mix all ingerdients in a bowl. Stir well for 7-8 minutes. Store mixture in an airtight container. Bubbles will appear in 18-24 hours, indicating that yeast is ready. This mixture can be stored for up to a week in refrigerator. Dough, when prepared with this mixture, becomes spongy in 4 hrs.
