The carrier must be Homozygous because if he were hetero it must be Hh and the dominant gene is expressed but homozygous gives them the possibility of hh (only a carrier) or HH (definitely a carrier)
Don't totally understand the previous answer; however, I understand the question to mean that you want to know if you are homozygous or heterozygous for a certain trait.
If you express a recessive phenotype, that is you have blue eyes for example, you are definitely homozygous for that trait. If one of your parents has a recessive trait, like blue eyes, and the other parent expresses a dominant trait, like brown eyes, AND if you have brown eyes, you can be sure that you are heterozygous.
Otherwise it is impossible to tell until you have children. Then you can work backwards from you and your spouse, look at their parents and your parents and then figure the only possible way all those conditions could exist is if you are heterozygous or if you are homozygous for that trait.

The abbreviation for heterozygous is "HET."
Heterozygous
The heterozygous genotype
The abstract noun of "prove" is "proof." It refers to the act of establishing the truth or validity of something.
The best evidence to prove that Irene was heterozygous for hemophilia would be a genetic test showing the presence of one normal allele and one mutated allele of the gene responsible for hemophilia (F8 for hemophilia A or F9 for hemophilia B). Additionally, if Irene has a family history in which she has a son with hemophilia (who inherits the mutated allele) but does not express the condition herself, it would further support that she is a carrier (heterozygous) rather than homozygous.
no
That is the correct spelling of "heterozygous" (having variant alleles).
It means to try something out; to taste something; or to prove something.
if it has mass
Another way to express something is heterozygous is to say it has dual alleles. There is a dominant and recessive allele. Alleles determine which traits something will have. Normally this is expressed in a single allele.
heterozygous
Yes
A Hypothesis is something that you set out to test to prove or disprove. A Lemma is something that has already been proved that you use to help prove something else.
