marine biology is technological because marine biologists use technology in their everyday job to help with their work for instance they use submarines and telescopes and computers all of this is technological use.
Like all sciences, a broader knowledge of mathematics is almost always better to have. If you a pursuing a degree in Marine Biology, then you will require high level mathematics to complete your B.S. degree.
Fractions are not typically needed in marine biology as most measurements are in whole numbers or decimals. However, there may be instances where fractions are used to represent ratios or proportions in research or data analysis.
With my studies as a marine bioligist, marine bioligy relates to science by studying the anatomy and form of the marine life... It also has to do with math, but mainly science... Hope this helps someone! :-)

You might be thinking of marine zoology, which is a branch of marine biology. It (marine zoology) deals with the "critters" or creatures or animals in the marine environment. Certainly at the very "end" of the scale of marine creatures are living things that might be either animal or plant in nature. We usually see the more general term marine biologist in use to define someone who works in this area, and then a specialty under that umbrella.

Yes, marine biology is a specialized division of biology which is the study of life.
I assume you mean a marine biologist. You need a degree in marine biology. This means you will probably have to go to a school near the ocean. You can get basic classes in biology, math and chemistry at any college but you will have to transfer to a college that offers such a degree later. If you are in high-school take classes in chemistry and biology and some math as preparation for such a degree. Also many jobs in marine biology involve some scuba diving and snorkeling so you will eventually need to learn these skills as well.
