Ectasy (MDMA) is a derivative amphetamine. It is similar to the natural drug ephedrine and may be a alpha/beta agonist (mimics both epinephrine and noradrenaline). What is more clear is that a secondary effect of the drug is an increased release of dopamine and serotinin in the central nervous system (see NIH article).

What is the Substance That Mimic Neurotransmitter Action?

Substances that mimic neurotransmitter action are known as agonists. These compounds bind to neurotransmitter receptors in the brain, activating them and producing effects similar to those of the natural neurotransmitters. Examples include drugs like morphine, which mimics endorphins, and certain psychoactive substances that resemble serotonin or dopamine. By mimicking these neurotransmitters, agonists can influence mood, perception, and various physiological functions.

Is frosted Ectasy a pill?

yes it is. All types of ectasy are pill form unless someone crushes it to make it into powder or prepares it for injection

Are ecstasy pill supposed to have the same effect after several days?

The first time you take ectasy it effects your brain. What happens is in your brain there is a flood of endorphines and dopamine, which are the chemicals in your brain that create that feeling of happiness, or being high. So when this chemical floods your brain, it overwhelms the neurotransmitters. Normally there is a certain level of endorphines and dopamine that create the feeling of contentness, but now the levels are so outta whack they have to overcompensate just to make you feel normal and not severely depressed. this is what causes this addiction to the feeling of being high. The affect of ectasy on your brain is that it literally burns pits into your brain where those neurotransmitters are. I don't know when the high will wear off, but the effects of ectasy from the first time you take it is life long. 20 pills in 4 days seems like a lot of drugs, I'm no doctor, but i recommend not doing that for your health.
