there is no DNA in the cell nucleus however the cell nucleus is important to replicating a cell in DNA strand. (it supprots the chromatin that replicates the DNA)
i believe transcription is the copying of DNA and rna and replication is the actual work being done by everything in the cell to replicate
so if there is a crime, police and invstigators can find out who did the crime because anything that they touch, they leave their DNA
