Becasue the elements are pronounced the same in every language as close to their Greek and Latin roots as possible, the spelling varies on the script and pronounciation rule of the language of a country that studies it. Basicly, each element in a different language just sounds like English with a foreign accent, exept of course, for ancient elements or elements already with a name, such as Iron, Gold, Mercury, Titanium, etc.

How was the periodic table useful in predicting the existence of elements before they were discovered?

The periodic table organized elements based on their properties, allowing scientists to identify gaps in the table where new elements might exist. By examining the patterns in elemental properties, such as atomic number and electron configuration, scientists could predict the properties of undiscovered elements and guide their search for these elements. This helped in anticipating the existence and properties of elements before they were officially discovered.

What is the most useful source of general information about the elements in chemistry?

periodic table

The most useful source of chemical information about the elements is a?

periodic table. The periodic table provides a concise and organized overview of all the known elements, including their atomic number, atomic mass, and other key properties. It allows scientists to quickly access information about each element, such as its electron configuration, valence electrons, and chemical reactivity.

What is the main advantage of the periodic table?

periodic table is importance because: 1) you can find the useful element like (Calcium,Hydrogen etc.) 2) you can browse the elements and its use (Calcium:Element that strengthens our bones) 3) you can use for experementing (Hydrogen Molecules + Oxygen Molecules = Water(H20) ) thats how useful is periodic table are hope that will help anyone

Why is Mendeleev's table still used today?

Mendeleev's periodic table is still used today because it organizes elements based on their properties and relationships, making it easier to understand and predict their behavior. It provides a foundation for studying chemistry and helps scientists discover new elements and their properties. Additionally, the periodic table is a universal tool used across the world, providing a common language for scientists and educators.

Why is the periodic table is so useful?

It helps people find elements on the periodic table.yes that and more it also tells you the atomic number and mass of those elements

Why is the periodic table of elements useful?

because it helps organizing and remembering the chemical facts.

Why was Mendeleev's periodic table was useful?

Because it organized all of the existing elements and helped scientist discover more elements.

How does the periodic table help scientists?

well all the chemists from all around the world can know communicate and understand each other without having to learn what the element is in 90+ languages and now they know the mass of each element because that is how it is put in order the mass is the little number next to the symbol

Why is the periodical table used?

So you can classify the elements into groups.
