*One city in Alabama (Phenix City) operates on the same time zone as Georgia (Eastern) since it is next to the Metropolitan area of Columbus, Georgia, although it is legally listed as in the Central Time Zone along with the rest of Alabama.

**Like Alabama, there is a location within the state of Oklahoma that does not operate on its official time zone, the area is Kenton that observes Mountain time.
