This past week I visited a limestone quarry that has been mining limestone in one place for 40 years. In that time, they will have mined millions of tons of limestone. Usually nearly ALL the rock is limestone, so the answer will depend on the size (area) of the quarry, how deep you can mine, and presence of any "trash" rock.
Arguments for limestone quarrying include creating jobs and stimulating economic growth in the local area, providing resources for construction and agriculture industries, and contributing to infrastructure development. Additionally, limestone is a valuable natural resource used in various applications such as building materials, cement production, and soil amendment.
Construction of highways, brick and block structures, and roadbeds would be much more difficult as limestone is the main raw ingredient in cement.
on average 3-4 million tonnes of limestone is quarried each year.
Determining the calcium concentration in the limestone.
The cost of crushed limestone per yard can vary depending on the quality and quantity you purchase, as well as your location. On average, prices can range from $30 to $60 per yard. It's best to contact local suppliers for accurate pricing in your area.

Pretty Much all over Minnesota
Since limestone is calcium carbonate, it is a soluble salt. meaning every time it would rain some of the building would dissolve.. there would just be too much wear to the building
The quarry for the Great Pyramid of Giza, where much of the limestone was sourced, is located about 13 kilometers (approximately 8 miles) away from the pyramid site. The granite used in the pyramid's construction was transported from quarries in Aswan, located around 800 kilometers (about 500 miles) to the south. Ancient Egyptians employed sledges and waterways to facilitate the transportation of these massive stones.
The answer will depend on the size of the limestone!
There would behavor no eviromentel effects duhhh yall are soo slow

The value of quarry tile can vary widely depending on factors such as quality, size, color, and location. On average, quarry tile prices typically range from $1 to $5 per square foot. Specialty or custom tiles may cost more, while bulk purchases can lead to discounts. It's best to check with local suppliers for specific pricing based on your requirements.
It would be so much better if you removed the quarry tile since putting an overlay would raise the floor in places where you probably don't want it to be higher. You should be able to chip it off of the cement floor...and the results will also be superior.
