If there is no atmosphere then the earth will get very cold, with no greenhouse effect. We will have to live in protective bubbles and generate our own oxygen. With seven billion people on the planet, that's a big ask.
If ozone is destroyed, there will be no life on earth. Also the temperature of earth will increase.
There is oxygen in the atmosphere. This lets us breathe.
Correct. Earth's atmosphere was necessary for the development of life and is essential for its continued existence.
Ozone in the upper atmosphere is GOOD for life on earth, its presence there shields life on Earth from the harmful UV radiation that comes from the Sun.
Without the atmosphere that we breath, there would be no human life on earth.
The three conditions that make life on Earth possible are: presence of liquid water, suitable temperature range, and presence of a stable atmosphere with oxygen.
The Earth's atmosphere plays a crucial role in supporting life by providing the oxygen necessary for respiration. It also helps regulate temperatures, shields us from harmful solar radiation, and contains greenhouse gases that maintain a hospitable climate. Overall, the atmosphere creates the conditions necessary for life to thrive on Earth.
No, but there would be a lot of destruction of life. It would only destroy the Earth if it is ENORMOUS, but I suppose it's possible.
Without the atmosphere, there would be no life on earth.
Life wouldn't be possible on Earth without the atmosphere because it provides essential components such as oxygen and carbon dioxide for respiration, regulates the planet's temperature, and shields life forms from harmful solar radiation. Additionally, the atmosphere plays a crucial role in the water cycle, which is essential for all living organisms on Earth.
it made it possible 4 it to be plants animals and human life
Well, we have light, the sun, water, the atmosphere, and climate. We need those five things for life. Without even one of those five things, life on Earth wouldn't be possible.
Three things that make life on Earth possible are; water, temperature, and the atmosphere.
without it there would be no air and the sun's deadly UV rays could not make life possible
The presence of liquid water and the Earth's atmosphere, which provides protection from harmful solar radiation and maintains a stable climate, are two key factors that make life possible on Earth.
Life is very possible on earth, if it were not, then we would not exist.
The atmosphere's composition is caused BY life. When the Earth was formed the atmosphere was Nitrogen, CO2, and Methane and water vapour. Life has removed much of the methane and CO2 and added Oxygen. Therefore life and the atmosphere (and the rocks of the planet) are one big unified system with lots of biological cycles happening with them. When O2 was added to the atmosphere this formed O3 (Ozone) in the upper atmosphere and this then blocked out most of the Sun's harmful (to life) ultraviolet radiation. When this happened it was possible for life to start colonising the Earth's land areas. The atmosphere also blocks out most of the harmful cosmic radiation that impinges on the planet.
