All Bran Buds are relatively low in purines. They are primarily made from wheat bran and other plant-based ingredients, which generally contain lower levels of purines compared to animal products. For individuals managing uric acid levels, All Bran Buds can be a suitable choice as part of a balanced diet. However, it's always best to consult with a healthcare provider for personalized dietary advice.
There would be a total of six purine bases in a DNA molecule with nine base pairs. Purine bases include adenine (A) and guanine (G). Each base pair consists of one purine base and one pyrimidine base.
yes, a catfish's skin is covered in taste buds:)
Basically, Yes.
Lions and all other big cats have around 473 taste buds, which is much less compared to humans who have around 10,000 taste buds. Lions have fewer taste buds because they primarily rely on their sense of smell and sight for hunting and survival.
The phrase "nipped all the buds" typically means that the buds (undeveloped floral or leaf structures) on a plant or flower have been removed or damaged, preventing them from blooming or growing further. This action may be intentional as part of the pruning process to help the plant focus its energy on other parts or to control its growth.

Kellog's All Bran --> 1 cup = 74 grams I discovered this by measuring 6.75 cups from a 500g box of All Bran. 500g/6.75cups = 74.07grams/cup. I bought 100g of all-bran cereal (original) from a bulk food store. I placed it in a glass measuring cup and it's 1 and 1/4 cups. Solving the equation: if 100 g =1.25 cups, then 1 cup =0.9 cups. In a 500g box, there is 6.25 (or 6 and 1/4) cups of all-bran original cereal. I don't think it will help to say that 1/3 cup of all-bran buds =28 g and 1 cup, then =84 grams. Buds and Original are not the same in size and taste. How's this answer? Are you pulling your hair yet? Better yet, there are variations of even the Original out there (front of the box) and so add these details here and let's compare again! This is fun!
On a low purine diet, you can have all the fruits and vegetables you want, except for the ones listed below. Arugula is not only totally edible and tasty little morsel, but you can have as much arugula salad as you desire. Limit the intake of these higher purine veggies:spinach, mushrooms, asparaguscauliflower
All fish is at least moderately high in Purine which is what causes the production of uric acid in the body.
