It is made on the streets with a coctail of many different compounds to resemble the original formula, often using drugs such as amphetamines (speed) and ketamine (an animal tranquilyzer) which are in no way good for you by themselves. Underground chemists try to reproduce the original formula but do not have access to the precursors that are necessary so they use solvents to separate the chemicals from such things as paint and sealants. and the chemicals they use to separate the precursors are not always extracted completely which can leave deadly coctails which can, in short, cause immediate death. Alcohol is much "better."
