It depends
If the water is cold and the temp of glass don;t matter than it is glass of cold water
If the glass is cold and the temp of the water don't matter than it is cold glass of water
People normally use glass of cold water
Using a glass of water, you can demonstrate both principles. 1. Place a spoon halfway submerged in the water. Note that when you look through the side surface of the water, the spoon appears to be bent, or disjointed, at the surface of the water. This is due to refraction of the light passing through the water to your eye. 2. Place the glass of water several inches in front of a white background. place a bright a light source in front of the glass/background. Note that the area behind the glass is not as brightly lit as the rest of the background. This is because the light passing the water is dispersed and fewer Photons/Area are hitting the background. That is to say, there is less light density behind the glass where the light was dispersed. Note that the opposite effect (brighter behind the glass) can occur, if the glass of water acts as a "Focusing lens" due to its shape!
It is correct
The weight of a glass of water depends on the amount of water in the glass.

A common size of water glass holds 8 fluid ounces of water. In rough terms, one ounce of water weighs one ounce (weight). This gives the answer that a glass of water weighs half a pound. (The weight of the glass is not included in this half a pound.)

To be more precise, an Imperial Ounce (used in Britain) is 28.41 millilitres. This would give 8 ounces a mass of 227.3 grams. (0.500 pounds weight)
In the United States, a Fluid Ounce is 29.57 millilitres, which gives a mass of 236.6 grams. (0.52 pounds weight). Most standard glasses hold 8 ~ 12 ounces of water. When you say a glass of water do u mean, the weight of the glass along with the water or just the water in the glass? For the former, just place the glass of water on any type of scale. For the latter, place the glass of water on any type of scale, make a note of the weight and then empty the glass and weigh the empty glass with no water. Then simply subtract the weight of the water from the weight of the GLASS+WATER, you'll get your answer..
Anything that doesn't float in water is less dense than water, say iron? So if you drop an iron bar into a glass of water, you can say that the iron sinks or you can interpret it as the water floats? If you are referring to liquid, then mercury.
It is correct to say "the group has" because "group" is a singular noun and takes a singular verb.
When cold water is added to a hot glass beaker, the sudden temperature change causes thermal stress in the glass. This stress leads to uneven contraction and expansion of different parts of the glass, resulting in the glass beaker shattering due to the internal pressure that builds up within the glass.
This means that something was exactly what you needed or wanted. You might say "That hit the spot" if you were thirsty and drank a cold glass of water.
it is frio. correct way to say it is "hace mucho frio".
We usually say full of: The glass is full ofwater.
Well, between cold water and cold water.... I would have to say, Cold water 1) You mean cold water or hot water, and 2) Neither. I would go for lukewarm water. 1) You mean cold water or hot water, and 2) Neither. I would go for lukewarm water.
They say eight.
you say it like with a chance of rain you can get a full glass full of water.
The English words "cold water" can be translated into African Luhya language as "amatsi amanyifu".
In chemistry, there is no such thing as "cold", but is renamed "absence of heat." So yes, it is correct to say ice freezes because of a lack of heat.
It would be cold water because if the freezing point for water is 0 degrees. and say the cold water is 10 degrees and the hot water 90 degrees, the cold water is closer to the freezing point than the hot water and so freezes quicker
I would say glass. Glass is nonporous and easily cleaned and disinfected. Plastic is soft and the molecules making up the plastic bottle may leach into the water.
The water would have to be colder than the ice to keep it cold. That is not possible unless it is brine(salt water). Then ice at 32f could be cooled by brine at say 30f.
