U.S. astronomers said the giant asteroid could hit the earth in 2014.
True... the asteroid belt can be found between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.
True. Asteroids are rocky objects that orbit the Sun and many of them can be found within the asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter.
Well if you were watching the discovery channel 2 years ago it said that a scientist looked up into space and saw a asteroid heading our way and he predicted it will hit us in 10 years or so if that is true we only have 8 years until it hits. Oh I forgot it also said this asteroid looked bigger than Jupiter.
They vary in many different sizes.
Asteroid 2002 VE68 is a quasi satellite of Venus. However, it is not a true moon - it has only been in this configuration only about 7000 years, and it will probably leave the configuration in about 500 years. Also, 2002 VE68 interacts with Mercury and the Earth, as well as with Venus.

definitely not. If your definition of world is the earth, then it would take circumstances such as a giant asteroid or a black hole to destroy the earth. If you mean "end times," however, it is also true that the world is not coming to an end, due to the fact that I'm always right.

No, that's not true. The giant planets are made up mainly of hydrogen, which is much scarcer on Earth.
Ceres, the largest object in the asteroid belt, has no known moons orbiting around it. It is considered a dwarf planet rather than a true planet like Earth, which typically has one or more moons.
false, meters are asteroids in the earth atmosphere
False. A meteor is a small rocky or metallic body that enters a planet's atmosphere and burns up, creating a streak of light in the sky. It comes from a meteoroid, which is a smaller fragment of an asteroid or comet that has entered the Earth's atmosphere.
