87 will work just fine in your Lesabre or, if you are at altitude (such as Colorado) 85 is sufficient. Using a higher grade will improve performance so little you will never notice it. Even with the Cadillac engine 87 works very well. I drive a Cadillac Deville and use 87 even though Cadillac recommends 89. I tried it and the gas mileage was the same and no noticeable improvent in power. The car is well over 100,000 miles and still runs strong.
