motion
kinetic theory.
It basically states that all matter is made up of tiny moving particles.
number one the kinetic theory states that the particles of all matter are in constant , random motion. So the balloon bursting is caused by the excessive (so many) particles in the balloon. Ur welcome Lola :P
Correct. But I would add, this is not just a characteristic of liquids. Temperature is the average kinetic energy of the particles in any given substance, for all states of matter.
The Kinetic Molecular Theory states that all matter is made up of tiny particles that are constantly in motion. An example of that would be febreeze: when you spray some, the moving particles in the air carries around the room, making the room smell like febreez. Hope that helped :)
The kinetic theory of matter states that matter is made of particles whose speed is dependent on their mass and temperature. The kinetic theory states that particles in matter are always in motion.

In the gaseous state. Gas particles have the highest kinetic energy compared to liquid and solid particles.
kinetic theory.
Atomic theory. And in much more weird detail: quantum physics.
Temperature is another way of saying that a particle is in motion. Considering that there is no such thing a pure absolute zero, it is generally assumed that all particles are in fact in motion.

They are states of matter. They follow the kinetic theory of matter. They possess potential energy. They are made of particles, etc. etc.
The Alchemist needs to apply heat to the particles to change their kinetic energy and make them change states of matter.
are in random, constant, straight-line motion
