Well actually there are two types of objects that are not transparent:
1.If the object is totally not transparent,it is called OPAQUE.
2.If you can see through the object, but it appears blurred or unclear because of the scattering of light; it is called TRANSLUCENT.
They are called miscible.
The pull on the surface of liquids that allow liquids to form drops when they fall are called surface tension. This property is due to the cohesive forces between liquid molecules at the surface.
If liquids have different densities and do not mix, they are called immiscible liquids. These liquids will separate into distinct layers when combined, with the less dense liquid floating on top of the denser one. Common examples include oil and water. The inability to mix is due to differences in molecular structure and polarity.
This is called fluidity. Liquids and gases are both classified as fluids because they can flow easily and do not have a fixed shape.
Almost any oil and water do not mix. Immiscible is the word
if it is translucent, yes if it is opaque, no
the opposite of clear is foggy, blocked, jammed, crowded, and nontransparent
yes ,mustard gas. it was used in the war and it got in the enemies eyes
When two liquids mix together, it is called miscibility. This means that the liquids are able to mix and form a homogeneous solution.
Cloth allows air transfer through the stitches.
It's called an emulsion. Mayonnaise is an example.
