Dry grasslands in the interior of the US, also known as the Great Plains, are characterized by a semi-arid climate with low rainfall and grassland vegetation. They are home to a variety of grasses and shrubs, and are an important habitat for wildlife such as bison and pronghorn. These grasslands are also used for agriculture, primarily for grazing livestock.
There are three types of North American grasslands. They are tall grass prairies, mixed grass prairies, and short grass prairies.
Grasslands provide fertile soil and ample sunlight for crop growth. The vegetation in grasslands also helps to prevent soil erosion and retain moisture, creating ideal conditions for growing crops. Additionally, the wide, open spaces in grasslands allow for efficient use of farming equipment and machinery.
Prairie Dogs do not natively live in Australia; however, the conditions are similar enough for them to live there.

is that both grasslands and clearing forests for farming are both negative and effective to the environment because the forests are what pollutes the air for us to breath with oxygen and that gives us nitrogen that we both need
they live in grasslands not on grasslands
