A flow of electrons is needed to have a current.

And there (usually) must be a complete circuit. And you need a voltage to make the current move around your circuit.

All tied up in Ohms Law - which I'll leave to you.

no...current is a flow of electricity

What two things are needed to make a current flow in a circuit?

For the circuit to be connected all the way round because if there are breaks in the circuit the electricity will not flow back round. and number 2 a battery or a power source because without power where is the electricity coming from to be honest. Hope it helped. Thanks. xx

What are to things needed in order for current to flow in a circuit?

voltage and ground

What is and electrical current?

current electricity is where electrons flow through a conductor.static electricity electrons do not flow

What is a flow of electricity?

a current

Something that will not let electricity flow through it?

Something that does not allow current to flow is called an insulator. "Electricity" doesn't flow, only current, which is one aspect of electricity, does. Note, current is the flow of electrons.

Is glass an insulator of electricity?

Note: "electricity" is not conducted, only electrical current (the flow of electrons) is. Electricity is the field that covers all things electrical. Insulators only prevent the flow of electrons (current). Glass is a very good insulator.

What called the flow of electricity?

The flow of electricity is called the current. It is measured in Amps (I).Current is the flow of electrons around an electrical circuit.

What elements allow electricity to pass through?

Note that "electricity" doesn't flow, only current does, which is one aspect of electricity, does. Current is the flow of electrons.A circuit lets electricity flow through it.Conductors allow the easy flow of electrons. Conductors are metal, usually copper or aluminum.Note that "electricity" doesn't flow, only current does, which is one aspect of electricity, does. Current is the flow of electrons.Metals are good conductors. They provide little opposition (resistance) to the flow of currentNote that "electricity" doesn't flow, only current does, which is one aspect of electricity, does. Current is the flow of electrons.A conductor lets electrons easily flow in it.

What are the basic materials used in electricity?

The basic materials used in electricity are conductors, such as copper and aluminum, which allow the flow of electric current. Insulators, such as rubber and plastic, are used to prevent the flow of electricity where it is not needed. Semiconductors, like silicon, are used in electronics to control the flow of electricity.

Metal conduct current?

Metal conduct electricity and flow of electricity is the current.
