The answer isn't so simple. There are various kinds of pH paper. However, I presume you are referring to litmus paper which is the widest distributed form. Acetic acid has no effeect on red litmus paper but turns blue litmus red
When white litmus paper is dipped in potassium permanganate, it does not change color, as potassium permanganate is a neutral solution and does not affect the acidity or basicity of the litmus paper. White litmus paper is designed to indicate pH changes, turning red in acidic conditions and blue in basic conditions. Since potassium permanganate itself is not acidic or basic, the litmus paper remains unchanged.
If you add red litmus paper and it remains red, then you add blue litmus paper and it remains blue, then the the solution is neutral. Kamal
Red litmus paper remains red when dipped in water. Litmus paper is used to test for acidity or basicity, and red litmus paper turns blue in basic solutions. If the water being tested is neither acidic nor basic, the red litmus paper will not change color.
Rice paper is a light, almost translucent white color, often with a slightly off-white hue. It has a delicate and smooth texture, resembling thin paper.
White vinegar is a type of vinegar made from distilled grain alcohol, typically corn or wheat. It is clear in color and has a sharp, acidic taste. Vinegar, on the other hand, is a broader category that includes various types such as apple cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar, and rice vinegar.
blue, indicating a basic pH.
When orange filter paper is dipped into SO2 gas, it turns colorless or white due to the bleaching action of sulfur dioxide on the dye in the filter paper. This color change is a characteristic test for the presence of SO2 gas.
NO Cider vinegar has a different flavor and is much darker in color.
To remove dry erase marker from paper, try using a white eraser to gently rub the marks. If that doesn't work, you can also try blotting the marks with a cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol or using a damp paper towel with a small amount of white vinegar. Be cautious when using liquid solutions to avoid damaging the paper.
Filter paper is white.
Yes
White
The simplest answer I can give for this is that not all paper is white. Construction and craft paper come in many colors, and if one wishes to draw a white object on said paper, they will need to color it in with white.
If you add red litmus paper and it remains red, then you add blue litmus paper and it remains blue, then the the solution is neutral. Kamal
Paper of any colour other then white.
a monkey
If color is not important, red balsamic vinegar would be the best substitute for white. Otherwise, a sweet white wine would be a possible replacement.
