You have Martin Luther and Galileo confused. They are two different people. Luther was the one who nailed the 96 thesis to the cathedral door, Not Galileo.
The purpose of the consistory was to advise the pope on church matters, oversee the administration of dioceses, and make decisions on important issues affecting the Catholic Church.
Galileo's telescope designs using lenses were examples of early optical technology advancements that allowed for magnification and enhanced observational capabilities. These designs revolutionized astronomy and helped Galileo make significant discoveries, such as the moons of Jupiter and the phases of Venus, that supported the heliocentric model of the solar system.
Galileo discoveries are the 4 largest moons of Jupiter, the earth revolves around the sun, rings of Saturn,Venus has phases like the moon, and sun spots
The communion of saints is the spiritual solidarity which binds together the faithful on earth, the souls in purgatory, and the saints in heaven in the organic unity of the same mystical body under Christ its head, and in a constant interchange of supernatural offices.
The roof caved in in the burning church, and Johnny was still in the burning church, and was likely unable to make it out, so Dally possibly charged in the blazing fire for Johnny, and got that burn. This is likely what happened as S.E.Hinton didn't include what actually happened since Ponyboy was unconscious.
how do you make make a plea to the church for the mission offering.
No, separation of church and state.
How did Mary Church Terrell make her goals a reality
A genuine Baptist church has no governing body over it. Each individual church is totally independent of other churches. Church "A" cannot make a decision for church "B" and church "B" cannot make a decision for church "A." Baptist do not have a church hierarchy of, for example, Pope >> Bishop >> Priest, etc.
Believers make up the church. If you are a Christian, then WE are the church. There are many people who think that the church is only a building but the church is the body of Christ. The church is those who are the hands and feet of Jesus and those who reach out into their world to make a difference for the sake of the gospel. I think that the church is supposed to be made up of the difference makers and the ones who have passion about being a light in the dark world. Young and old alike make up the church. Many ethnicities make up the church. I am a part of the body of Christ. I and fellow believers who are also a part of the body of Christ make up the church. However, this is not to say that those who do not believe cannot be the church. They have an opened door to believe the word of God and to also become a part of the body of Christ, and in turn a part of the church.
