Galileo Galilei was born on Feb 15, 1564, died Jan. 1642.He was a Tuscan (Italy) physicist, astronomer, and mathematician who played a large role in the scientific revolution. For one thing, he said the earth revolved around the sun. He discovered the four largest moons of Jupiter, improved the telescope and observed and documented sunspots. He is called the Father of modern astronomy. he did lost of things in modern science if it wasnt for him we wouldn't have science
