Abnormal behavior is classified as any behavior that deviates from the social norms of the culture or society in which that person lives in (keeping in mind the importance of cultural context - that what might be viewed as abnormal behavior in one country may be viewed as completely normal in another) A key factor in considering if a behavior is abnormal or not, when it becomes a problem, is if it violates the comfort zones of the majority of others in the person's presence.
