For the same reason that any theory is disputed. Some people do not agree that the evidence put forth by theorists supports the generally accepted conclusion. The Big Bang theory speculates that our universe came into being as a result of a sudden and rapid expansion of material out of a tiny and unimaginably dense core of energy. Some people conclude that the evidence/information is itself flawed, and/or they represent serious mis-interpretations of observed phenomena. Others might come to different conclusions based on the current evidence, and still others may draw more assurance from faith-based or non-scientific approaches to knowledge.
There is pretty much NO controversy about the FACT of the Big Bang. But this theory (and please understand the word "theory" better than those who want to create confusion about the word, in order to advance their political agenda) does leave some questions unanswered:
1) what drove the initial expansion?
2) why is the cosmic background radiation so isotropic? (NOTE: many of the problems of the BB, including this one, can be solved if we assume that the early Universe had a period of rapid inflation. But doing leads to the obvious question of what drove inflation, and why did it stop.)
3) why is our Universe composed almost completely of matter, with almost no anti-matter present?
There is a tremendous amount of astronomical observation which supports the Big Bang theory. It is possible to observe the expansion of the universe, because receding objects have a doppler shift in the light or radiation that they emit. And there is also a cosmic background radiation in the microwave frequency, which can be explained as a residue of the Big Bang. At this point, no serious astronomer doubts that there was a Big Bang. Many questions remain about exactly how or why there was a Big Bang, but we do know that it happened.
the disputes of the big bang theory are the acelerating universe ,and the homogenous and isotoropy of space are not suggested by big bang theory.
Hello i am minakshi answer is that the big bang theory is an example of old scientific theory as big bang theory explains that there was an explosion but the isotropy and the homogenity of the universe is not explained by big bang theory to explain his we connect inflatation theory with big bang theory to explain it so the big bang theory is also an example of old scientific theory.
The duration of The Big Bang Theory is -1320.0 seconds.
The Big Bang is the theory that was developed to describe the origins of the universe.
No
It is similar to the Big Bang theory. The ekpyrotic theory is, a theory that their is a parallel universe (More than one) In our universe.

the big bang theory
The Big Bang Theory is set in Pasadena California.
The duration of The Big Bang Theory is -1320.0 seconds.
Big Bang Theory is available for rental only.
I know of no such reference for a "natural" Big Bang Theory. Must be just another way of referring to the Big Bang Theory with a differing focus (i.e. kind of like the Hot Big Bang Theory).
The Big Bang is the theory that was developed to describe the origins of the universe.
No. The Big Bang theory came a lot later.
There is no recurring "boss" character on Big Bang Theory.
Constellations are components of galaxies and have little to do with the Big Bang Theory.
Penny - The Big Bang Theory - was created in 2007.
Well I do now one theory about the universe. It's the big bang theory. The big bang theory is a theory about how the universe was created.Scientist think that a big explosion created the universe.Scientist found lots of evidence that the big bang theory was true.
