Scientists refer to the process of a solid turning into a liquid as "melting." This occurs when the solid's temperature is raised above its melting point, causing the solid's particles to gain enough energy to break free from their fixed positions and move more freely, resulting in a change in state from solid to liquid.
i would say its a solid.
it belongs to the transition metals so, I would say it is a SOLID.
A liquid in which something has been dissolved is usually referred to as a 'solution'.
It was a liquid that was turned into a solid, but it can melt and become a liquid again(and vice versa, freeze and become a solid). Some people say its both which is technically true.
solid I think of it more like a set of solids -- each piece of wood is a solid.
gas -> liquid = condensation liquid -> solid = solidification (freezing) solid -> gas = sublimation gas -> solid = deposition solid -> liquid = melting liquid -> solid = vaporization
This may not be the answer you're looking for, but I'd say, Chocolate.
Yes. Solid is a state of matter - a trait. While matter can change states into liquid or gas, these traits always stay what they are - different states of matter. Just like you can't say - "solid is liquid" but you can say "solid turned into liquid" (and it is no longer solid)
i would say its a solid.
liquidI would say that it is actually both a liquid and a solid. It definitely is NOT a gas. It "sticks" together like a solid, but still has the viscosity, or fluidity, of a liquid.
Matter will only change from a liquid to a solid when you take away heat.If a liquid turns into a solid when you ADD heat, then something else is happening. It could be a chemical reaction or a more simple example would be if you heat a mixture of something that has water in it and the water evaporates. What is left behind is whatever did not evaporate and could be a solid. This is technically not the same matter that you had before, so you can't say the matter turned into a solid from a liquid by adding heat.
it is a liquid with bits of solids so i'd say it's a liquid :D

The word you are looking for is "dissolved." When a solid substance breaks down into individual molecules and is evenly spread out in a liquid, we say that it has dissolved in the liquid.
It is a solid because does use water but the outside is a solid so I will say that it maybe a solid.
