think its carbon or gold
Carbon is the main hardening element in steel. However, increasing the hardness decreases the ductility. Strength in this case is relative.
The main element in steel is iron. The other elements make up a small portion of steel but greatly influence its structure. Still, if it ever becomes possible to create 100% pure iron, it will be stronger.
hahahahahahahahaha.....if you dont know visit some other website.hahahaha
Protect against rusting of the steel. The protection is achieved by preferential reaction of the zinc "sacrificing" itself by being oxidized, and therefore the protection does not last forever in an environment favorable to rusting.
The principal element in steel is IRON(Fe). A small but varying percentager of carbon alloyed to iron, gives steel.
chromium
Iron is itself an element while steel is an alloy of iron and carbon with traces of manganese, chromium, vanadium, and tungsten
A non element. Steel is formed from Iron and carbon.
Galvanising is the process of application of zinc coating on steel surfaces. It prevents steel surface from rusting.
Steel does not have a chemical symbol. That's because steel is iron (Fe) with a tiny bit of carbon (C) in it. It may or may not have other elements intentionally alloyed in it to give it different properties, but steel itself is not an element.
Steel isn't an element but, yes, it is a conductor.
Iron is the major element in steel. Only an element can be an element, and an element can not be a compound, the definition of which requires more than one element.
A non-element can be a set that does not contain any elements, known as the empty set or null set, denoted by {}. It is not considered an element in itself but rather a subset of all sets.
It is neither an element not a compound. Steel is an alloy. An alloy is a mixture of a metal and another element. In the case of steel, it is principally iron (an element), with about 0.2% to 2,0% carbon ( an element), mixed in. Other elements can be mixed in , e.g. chromium to form Stainless Steel, or Tungsten to form hard wearing steel.
Iron is the heavier element from which steel is primarily made.
chromium
Bone is 5 times stronger than steel, but not an element.
