The Tranchea
The trachea extends from the larynx to the vertebral level of the fifth thoracic vertebra (T5), where it bifurcates into the left and right main bronchi.
Pharynx
The esophagus is a tube that starts in the laryngopharynx and extends to thestomach. It is 25 cm long and lies in the thorax. The mediastinum is in the middle of thethorax. The mediastinum is divided into theanterior, middle and posterior mediastinum. The esophagus lies in the posterior mediastinum, on theback side of the heart. It penetrates the diaphragm at the thoracic vertebra 10 and then join the upper end of stomach. Its function is to transfer food and water to the stomach from the mouth for digestion.
The lungs are directly lateral to the mediastinum.
larynx, located at the upper end of the neck, to the bronchi in the chest. It is a cylindrical tube made of cartilage and lined with cilia and mucus-producing cells to help trap and remove particles from the air before it reaches the lungs.

The trachea extends from the larynx down into the lungs. Its major function is that it connects the larynx and pharynx to the lungs and allows humans to breathe.

The mediastinum(media- middle; -stinum partition), a central areawithin the thoracic cavity, extends from the neck to thediaphragm and from the sternum to the vertebral column. The organs located in the mediastinum are the heart, thymus gland, esophagus, trachea and bronchi. The pleuralcavities are located on either side of the mediastinum.

pleural space
larynx serves as an airpassage between the pharynx and the trachea and trachea air consists of cartilage and connective tissue and extends from the lower end of the larynx into the chest cavity behind the heart . larynx and trachea is the tube called esophagus which trasports food from the pharynx to the stomach.
mediastinum
The section of the alimentary canal that extends from the mouth and nasal cavities to the larynx, where it becomes continuous with the esophagus.
An organ that is much more noticeable in men than women is the larynx. This is also called the "Adam's apple". Other organs in only men that can be seen are the penis and testicles.
The space between the 2 lungs is called the Mediastinum where the heart is located
