Engelmann shone light of different colores (wavelengths) onto filaments of Spirogyra. Spirogyra is an alga made up of filaments (chains) of cells. He added motile bacteria (which could swim) and which needed oxygen and observed where they went. He found that the bacteria clustered around the blue and red colours of the spectrum, where the Spirogyra were producing the most oxygen. So he concluded that these two colours were the most important for photosynthesis. Which experiment?
In a scientific experiment, a control is the part of the experiment that remains constant and is used as a baseline to compare against the experimental group. It helps researchers determine the effect of the variable being tested in the experiment.
True. In an experiment, a scientist formulates a hypothesis, designs the experiment, collects data, and then analyzes the results to draw conclusions. The outcome of the experiment is not known beforehand, and it is the results of the experiment that will either support or refute the hypothesis.
Repeated trials of said experiment.
experiment
Thomas Edison's first experiment was a failure. He attempted to create a telegraph repeater, but it did not work as intended. This failure motivated him to continue experimenting and eventually led to many successful inventions.
hahahaha i cant believe u looked at this question
Thomas Young was the first person to offer evidence that light was a wave through his famous double-slit experiment in 1801. This experiment demonstrated light's wave-like behavior through interference patterns.

Thomas Young is the scientist who proposed in 1801 that light is a wave, using his double-slit experiment to support this theory.
Thomas Edison's first major invention was the phonograph, patented in 1878. He had previously worked on various telegraph-related projects, but the phonograph marked his entry into the field of audio technology.
Thomas Edison invented the first electric power plant.
He might have, but that sort of thing sounds more like something Nikola Tesla would be involved with.
It is believed that Thomas Edison's barn burned down due to a cauldron experiment he was conducting in the barn. The experiment involved attempting to extract rubber from goldenrod plants, which led to a fire. Despite the barn burning down, Edison reportedly viewed it as a learning experience and rebuilt the facility as a research laboratory.
