Volcanic eruption can be classified mainly based on the name of the volcano. They are Surtseyan eruption, Plinian eruption, Vulcanian eruption, Strombolian eruption and Hawaiian eruption.
It is an explosive eruption technically a strombolian eruption
A Plinian eruption is more destructive than a Strombolian eruption. Plinian eruptions are characterized by the ejection of large amounts of ash, gas, and pumice, reaching high into the atmosphere, causing widespread devastation. Strombolian eruptions, on the other hand, typically involve the ejection of lava bombs and lava flows on a smaller scale.
Silica content in strombolian eruptions is typically low (around 50-52%), as they are characterized by the eruption of basaltic magma. This type of magma has a lower silica content compared to other types such as andesitic or rhyolitic magmas, which are associated with different types of volcanic eruptions like explosive ones.
Mount Etna recently had a Strombolian eruption. This type of eruption is characterized by frequent and moderate explosive bursts of lava that can reach a few hundred meters in height.
it has a stombolian eruption
They have Strombolian eruptions.

Lava fountains can be associated with Strombolian and occasionally Hawaiian eruptions.
Mount Paricutin is called a Strombolian eruption, meaning that it only has one eruption. Which already happened in 1943. So Mount Paricutin will not erupt no longer.

A Strombolian eruption is a type of magmatic eruption, meaning that molten rock actually erupts onto the surface. In a Stombolian eruption gasses trapped in the magma expand explosively, sending fountains of lava into the air. A phreatic eruption does not directly involve molten rock. Phreatic eruptions occur when water comes incontact with magma or hot rocks near magma and turns to steam, creating an explosion. Some ash may be ejected from these eruptions, but this is formed from the explosion blasting old rock rather than fresh magma.
a strombolian erruption.... Hope i have been of some help. email me if necessary (dancer.12@hotmail.co.UK).
