realized niche
A lizard is not a niche, it is an organism. Organisms require an environmental niche in order to survive. Most lizards eat insects, many of them live in dry or semi-arid climates, and that would be their niche. The Komodo Dragon has a different niche, being a much larger type of lizard. It eats larger animals. It has a predatory niche.
Actually, this is called a columbarium niche. It's where cremated remains, called cremains, are stored. Depending on how much room is in each niche, the cremains can be stored in urns or cardboard containers. Columbarium niches can be located in cemeteries and many churches.

I was told by a contractor, while at the Mandai Crematorium and Columbarium Complex, for an arrangement of a Niche for my beloved father, who had passed away on 6th February 2008. That our humble and former President of Singapore, Mr. Wee Kim Wee, final resting place were also at a block on the left (White Building), while entering the complex. I shall play "Sherlock Holmes", to locate its exact location too, when I am next there. Hope before that, someone out there could provide some better clues. Thank you in advance! Best regards, Ting C. H.
