A diaphragm bulkhead is a structural wall or partition made of a flexible material, usually rubber or fabric-reinforced rubber, used to separate different sections of a structure or container. It can accommodate changes in volume or pressure within each section while providing a barrier between them.

The diaphragm
You have two cavities related to diaphragm. But the shape of diaphragm is dome shaped and you can say that abdominal cavity is directly interior to diaphragm.
The diaphragm is mostly innervated by the phrenic nerve.
Ship Bulkhead=Bulkheads are the metal watertight compartments that store water so a ship cannot sink=Van Bulkhead=Bulkheads for vans are the same as ship bulkheads, but thinner and do not store water, but cargo.=
Bulkheads is the navy term for wall, therefor to keep the water in.
Bulkheads are used to subdivide space. They can be used in a variety of places including airplanes, ships, or basements. Bulkheads can provide watertight compartments or provide additional support to existing structures by strengthening the frame.

these are the bulkheads constructed on some ships for avoiding the frames.these have stool spaces and shedder plates within them.sounding plates and hold ladder pass through them
Bulkheads are occasionally used to prevent damaged caused by waves. However, the primary use of bulkheads is to prevent erosion.
The bulkhead is a wall running perpendicular to the length of the ship. Bulkheads divide a ship into sections along its length. The design of the bulkheads was a fatal flaw in the titanic because the bulkheads didn't go all the way up to the deck. Since the bulkheads only went part of the way up, the ship filled with water much like an ice-cube tray that's being filled with water. If the bulkheads had gone all the way up to the deck, only a portion of the ship would've filled with water and the ship wouldn't have sank.
it is called the diaphram.
The main way it to have watertight doors and bulkheads.
The bulkheads structurally support the hull.
