Is this a trick question or something because no one likes trick questions kid. I also happen to know where you live so be prepared. I'm a blackbelt. I also kick-box, box, wrestle, and play football.
The cell membrane. The shell is just an extra organelle solely made of calcium carbonate that provides structure. It is not part of the living egg, just a layer of protection. Note that the egg is only one cell
The five parts of a bird egg are as follows:germ -- the spot the size of a pin head on the surface of the yolk.yolk -- the yellow yolk is contained in a yolk sac.white -- the white is called albumen and has 4 layers (thick white, thin white, inner thin white and the chalaza)shell membranes -- the membranes allow water and gas to pass through. They separate to form the air sac.shell -- the shell is made from calcium carbonate.
The yolk and the egg white serve as sources of food in an egg. The yolk contains nutrients like proteins, fats, and vitamins, while the egg white consists mainly of water and proteins.
The egg yolk nourishes the chick until it hatches.
yes edit: No, even though that is what social media would have you believe. In reality the egg yoke is simply food for a microscopic normal sized cell. The yoke itself does not live nor act like a cell at all. Also even if you were to assume that by a vauge definition it were a cell (the same definition that would interpret my bladder as a cell) then yes it would be an abnormaly large cell, but not the largest. There is a kind of plant growing in south america which can get multiple meters in length. So im sorry but it is not the largest single cell, but that would be cool
The yolk is the food for the cell. It is the very life of the developing embryo. For the 21 days that cell need to grow into a living breathing chicken, everything it need will come from that yolk.
an egg 1 cell.... did you know that?!?!
Each egg cell is a single haploid cell.
Yes, the yolk of an egg is a large or "fat" cell.
The Nucleus
The yolk of an egg is one cell.
The cell membrane. The shell is just an extra organelle solely made of calcium carbonate that provides structure. It is not part of the living egg, just a layer of protection. Note that the egg is only one cell
On top of the yolk sits a little white disk. This is the actual egg, or germ cell, if it were fertilized it would turn into an embryo and eventually baby chick.
the yolk! yolk
no, the egg yolk is just the yolk. and the egg white is just the white
the egg yolk
"The yolk of the egg is yellow" is correct. "Yolk" is a singular noun, so it should be paired with the singular verb "is."
