There are two possible meanings I can think of:
Firstly, and induction system can mean something like an orientation program, for example where a new employee is inducted into the workings and procedures of a company.
The second can refer to the induction of heat or electric current into a circuit through a strong magnetic field. For example: an induction stove, where a magnet in the surface of the stove causes the (ferrous) metal pot above it to heat up, an induction coil which induces high voltage, an induction motor.
Other common place items that use induction in their design include:
The direction an induction motor will turn depends upon the direction of the rotating field setup by the winding. Remember in AC the direction of the current reverses itself 120 times every second for a 60 hz system. So no it will not turn in the "direction" of the current.
On 29th August 1831 Michael Faraday discovered the theory of Electromagnetic Induction.
Open ended induction motor - i assume you are talking about split phase induction motor. With these motors old style speed controlling method using external resistors can be used. However this is now obsolete.
No, tin foil should not be used in an induction oven. This can cause damage to the oven and disrupt its functioning. It is best to avoid putting any materials other than cookware designed for induction cooking in the oven.
yes
It is a system that Granville T. Woods invented.
it works on the principle of induction i.e. on the production of eddy currents in the moving system by the alternating fluxes
1. An induction lamp system uses a technology of light generation that combines the basic principles of induction and gas discharge. Void of electrodes this technology delivers 100,000 hours of natural sun light spectrums with rare earth horticulture blend phosphors for full PAR spectrum photosynthesis for plant growth.
Cold air induction is a ducting system, usually after market or add on, that draws the coldest air possible for the engine to use.
One can purchase an induction loop system from websites like Vivid Acoustics, Alert Electrical, AVT Common, RS Online, Ampetronic, Amazon or Gordon Morris Shop.
Panels (photovoltaic induction), inverters (dc to ac inversion) and a host system (transmit/store).
its where your mom works on the corner ! One way mutual induction is used is in your cars ignition system its uses an electromagnet to give the proper spark plug its spark within a car with a distributor ignition system.
PCV valve is under the induction system
Yes the Induction motor works on Electromagnetic induction principle.
what is induction
induction meeting
A capacitor-start system will limit the current drawn by an induction machine by correcting the devices poor power factor during the start up. This limits the current needed to start the device without using any real power. A resistance-start system will limit the starting current by drawing current unto the resistor instead of the induction machine. The real power used by the resistor is turned into heat and lost. A capacitive-start system will use no real power and will not create excess heat, it will be more expensive to initially purchase.
