It really depends which part of Italy you're going to, but in general terms June is a very pleasant month throughout the country. It's warm without being too hot, although the evenings might not be quite warm enough to sit outside without a jacket. The end of the month obviously becomes warmer as spring goes into summer.

In terms of clothes, it's best to wear layers so that you can take some off if it's very warm, put some on if it becomes a little chilly. There's also always a chance of rain, so pack a small umbrella and, if it looks a little cloudy, carry it in your handbag.
