Do household battery chargers draw electrical power when not charging but remain plugged in?

Everything that is plugged into the mains socket and switched on will use electricity even if it's a battery charger with no batteries in. So yes they do draw electrical power from the mains.

If you buy a television or computar in another country why might you have trouble using it in the US?

For one thing, the supply voltage in the USA is different from almost anywhere else. In Europe, for example, the mains voltage is between 230 volts (in much of the mainland Europe) and 240 volts in the UK. Much of Asia is of a similar voltage. Therefore most electrical appliances can be used across these countries with little problem as the mains voltage is very similar. However, in the USA, the mains voltage is only 110 volts, which is not enough to run most foreign appliances. Furthermore, if you take an American appliance to Europe and try to use it (even if you buya plug adapter to cope with the different shaped plug) , it will be severely damaged when the supply voltage is more than twice the US voltage. To cope with this, as well as getting a plug adapter you will also need a transformer to alter the voltage from 240V to 110V.

Is the voltage provided by your V Hz AC wall socket actually V?

Rarely... Electrical companies reduce the voltage to save money on generating power. Most electrical equipment will still operate even if the voltage is within 5% of its rating. For example - in the UK, our mains voltage is rated at 240V, however - the actual voltage supplied is 230V.

Is tube light need dc voltage?

If you mean a Fluorescent tube light then no, you don't need DC. Household Fluorescent light tubes use AC mains electricity. The mains AC is passed through a ballast coil which reduces the current. A ballast coil works best when the AC mains voltage is at least 2 times the Fluorescent tubes working voltage. So, a simple inductor ballast can be used in Europe, where the line voltage is typically 220 to 240 Volts AC, to operate a 4 foot long tube, which operates at 85 to 100 volts, depending upon design. In the US and other places that use 120 Volts AC mains, the ballast is a combination auto transformer (to raise the voltage) and an inductor (the current limiter).

Why Wiring in our house connected in parallel?

When things are connected in parallel, they all get the same mains voltage. When you connect things in series the voltage they get depends on the number of units in the series. Household appliances all need mains voltage so all electrics deliver this. (Apart from connecting up batteries, nearly all electrics are set up in parallel mode).
