The abdominal cavity
The gut, also known as the digestive tract, runs throughout the human body. It starts at the mouth, goes down the throat into the esophagus, through the stomach, small intestine, large intestine, and ends at the anus. The gut is responsible for digesting food and absorbing nutrients.

The esophagus is a muscular tube that connects the throat to the stomach. Its main function is to transport food and liquids from the mouth to the stomach through a series of coordinated muscle contractions known as peristalsis. The esophagus also contains a sphincter at its lower end that prevents stomach acid from flowing back up into the esophagus.
The lower middle region below the naval of the human body is called the hypogastric region. It is located between the pubic area and the belly button. It contains organs such as the bladder, uterus, and part of the large intestine.
The inner wall of the stomach of the fetal pig is lined with gastric mucosa, which contains gastric pits leading to gastric glands. These gastric glands secrete enzymes and mucus that aid in digestion. The lining also has rugae, which are folds that allow for expansion of the stomach.

The lower middle region of the abdomen is the hypogastric region. Hypo means below, and gastric means stomach.

When you say "lower digestive system" I'm assuming you mean your intestines. If that is what you're referring to, it starts at the bottom of your stomach. The bottom of your stomach is connected to your small intestine, which then goes to your large intestine, then to your rectum, and then your anus.

If its on the lower abdomen could be that you are ovulating, sometimes the muscles contract during this period. If its the stomach could be that either you have lots of acidity in your stomach that causes digestion to be alittle hard/rough for food to move about in your intestines causing the pull.
