If however it has still got more than 9 times more mass than our Sun then the gravity will collapse it down into a black hole. Black holes are the vacuum cleaners of the universe and are also believed to be at the centre of every galaxy. If the theory is correct every Galaxy at its core has a Super Giant Black hole helping keep things in it orbit around the Galaxy.
