What is the study of Earth's lithosphere?

There are a number of different scientific disciplines that may study the lithosphere. It should be noted that the term lithosphere is used when describing the layers of the Earth based on their mechanical properties. As such there are a number of scientific disciplines with interests in the Earth's mechanical properties and which may include the following:

Structural Geology, Rheology, Tectonics, Geophysics, Seismology, Rock Mechanics and Geotechnics.
