Wildlife Depletion in Philippines.
-tropical rain forests are among the richest,if not the richest, habitats on earth in biological diversity. Biologists estimate that there are at least 35 000 species of plants and animals found in Philippines.
The problem is the rate at which wildlife species become extinct.Dioscoro Rabor,
a well-known Filipino field biologist, noted that, with the rapid reduction of our forest cover, birds in the Philippine forest disappear faster than scientists can even identify them. Of course new species continue to appear (i.e., speciation)
as a result of continuous evolution. But the rate of extinction (estimated to be 100 species per day worldwide)exceeds that of speciation, since it takes some 2000 to 100 000 generations for new species to evolve.
thank you!
Wildlife depletion refers to the declining population and loss of various species of plants and animals in a specific geographic area. This can be caused by factors such as habitat destruction, pollution, climate change, poaching, and overexploitation of resources. Wildlife depletion can disrupt ecosystems and lead to cascading effects on biodiversity and the environment.
Causes of depletion of flora and fauna in India include habitat destruction due to urbanization, deforestation, and agricultural expansion; poaching and illegal wildlife trade; pollution and climate change; and human-wildlife conflict leading to increased mortality of wildlife. These factors collectively contribute to the decline in biodiversity in India.
Possible causes of ozone depletion include human activities releasing chemicals like CFCs into the atmosphere, which break down ozone molecules. Effects of ozone depletion can lead to increased UV radiation reaching Earth's surface, posing risks to human health such as skin cancer and cataracts, as well as harm to ecosystems and wildlife.
Scientists are concerned about the depletion of ozone levels because the ozone layer acts as a shield that protects Earth from harmful ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun. Depletion of the ozone layer can lead to increased UV radiation reaching the Earth's surface, which can have harmful effects on human health, wildlife, and ecosystems.
Ozone depletion is the thinning of ozone layer below a certain concentration. This phenomenon is termed as ozone depletion.
The depletion of forests will lead to the threatening of the population of some wildlife. This is because their homes and food sources are being destroyed.

because of only and only human greed
The main causes of wildlife depletion are global warming. Deforestation is also one major cause.

Radio Waves and other waves through the air and global warming.
In my opinion Wildlife depletion Is the lose of wild animals through over hunting. Most often loss of there natural habitat due to human expansion of urbanisation.
I think....................it is because of the increase in the population! All because of people llike us who take the environment for granted.

Environmental degradation is the deterioration of the environment through depletion of resources such as air, water and soil; the destruction of ecosystems and the extinction of wildlife. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Environmental_degradation
It accelerates soil erosion and affects underground flow of water.Depletion of forests leads to disappearance of wildlife and wild variety of plants.
