The western United States is known for diverse landforms, including mountains (e.g., the Rocky Mountains, Sierra Nevada), deserts (e.g., Mojave, Sonoran), canyons (e.g., Grand Canyon), plateaus (e.g., Colorado Plateau), and valleys (e.g., Central Valley). These landforms contribute to the region's varied landscapes and ecosystems.
Landforms that you may find in mountains and plateaus would be valleys and hills. These are also landforms.
The answer depends on what you define as "landforms". Four, if you count the landforms regions of Wyoming, which are the Great Plains in eastern Wyoming, the Rocky Mountains in western and southern Wyoming, and the Wyoming basin in central Wyoming. More if you break down the regions because there are the Great Plains and the Black Hills, the Middle Rockies and the Southern Rockies, the Yellowstone Plateau, the Wyoming Basin, and dunes and badlands, making that list 8. You can continue by naming specific landforms such as Devil's Tower, and the Yellowstone Plateau, and then you would have hundreds of landforms in Wyoming.
The most intensely folded rocks in North America are typically found in regions with complex tectonic activity, such as mountain ranges or areas with active subduction zones. Examples include the Appalachian Mountains in the eastern U.S., the Rocky Mountains in the western U.S., and the Canadian Rockies in Canada.

Western Canada is of course the western portion of the country of Canada. Just where western Canada begins, however, is a matter of some controversy. Some would say it is the Manitoba-Ontario border, while others would place it west of Manitoba. The longitudinal middle of Canada is just outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba. Canada West was a geographical description of the western part of the pre-Confederation Province of Canada. It referred to the former colony of Upper Canada.

You would expect to find Canada's mildest climate on the southwest coast of British Columbia, due to the moderating influence of the Pacific Ocean. The ocean helps to keep temperatures relatively mild year-round and reduces extreme temperature swings.
