I grew up without a television and don't have one now, so I feel like I have some expertise on the subject. Television does some things that unify and bring people together because everybody in the country can watch them together--like when we landed on the moon, or a president gets inaugurated, or when we all watched the aftermath of Katrina together. I suppose those things are good in a way. Information can be transmitted instantaneously, that's good, as in the case of an oncoming catastrophic storm. Those things we might not be aware of without television.
If we didn't have television, I think we could easily argue that terrorism would be greatly lessened, since terrorists rely on "the whole world watching" to shock and destroy (Munich Olympics in 1972, and of course 9/11, staged for the morning news shows). If we didn't have television, people would spend more time doing other things, like, maybe talking to each other or reading or engaging in other hobbies. Some people would argue that if we didn't have television, we'd all be slimmer and healthier. If we didn't have television, we would have lost a major means of advertising to the American public, and that might really do nasty things to our economy. If we didn't have television, school children would see about 10,000 fewer violent acts per year. If we didn't have television, our landfills wouldn't be full of old, useless sets. The best way to find out what life would be like without the television is to turn yours off.

Because you're able to be fully aware of your surroundings when you can hear things. You can also enjoy the smaller things in life, like enjoying music, and listening to a TV or talking on the phone even.
Life without natural resources would be drastically different, as our daily existence relies heavily on them for survival and comfort. Essential resources like clean water, air, fertile soil, and forests are crucial for food production, health, and ecosystem balance. Without these, humanity would face severe challenges, including food shortages, lack of clean drinking water, and diminished biodiversity, leading to a precarious and unsustainable future. Ultimately, the absence of natural resources would transform our societies, economies, and overall quality of life.
Without water, Earth would be a barren and lifeless place. All known forms of life depend on water for survival, so without it, ecosystems would collapse and organisms would die off. The planet would likely become a dry, desolate wasteland.

Life without silicon would be drastically different as silicon is a crucial element for many technological devices like computers, phones, and solar panels. It is also found in many natural materials like rocks and sand. The guitar was invented simply to be a musical instrument (what would life be without music). It is like saying why was a television invented, you don't need it but it would be good to have.
Before TV, there was radio, movies, record players, and theater.
Massively, it would be hard to communicate with anyone. And staying entertained would be hard without computer games, TVs etc. I can't imagine what it would be like, so different to how we currently live.
There would be no life.
Life without satellites would significantly disrupt modern communication, navigation, and weather forecasting. GPS technology, which relies on satellites for accurate positioning, would be rendered useless, complicating travel and logistics. Additionally, many services like television broadcasting and internet access would face severe limitations, impacting entertainment and information dissemination. Overall, daily life would become less efficient and more challenging in terms of connectivity and information access.
Life would not exist.
