A monomer is a single unit that can bond with other similar units to form a polymer, while a monosaccharide is a specific type of monomer that is the building block of carbohydrates. Monosaccharides are sugars that can exist independently or combine to form more complex carbohydrates, while monomers can be molecules of various types that join together to create polymers.
The monomers of the "sugars" are monosaccharides. Two of them together create a disaccharide, while more than two create a polysaccharide. Examples of monosaccharides include fructose, glucose, and galactose.
The smallest unit of a polymer is called a monomer. Monomers are the repeating units that link together to form a polymer chain through chemical bonds.
Disaccharides are carbohydrates that are formed by the dehydration of two monosaccharide molecules, such that the active carbons of each are utilized in making the bond. Thus, the disaccharide is more stable than the monosaccharide being less reactive than the latter and less prone to chemical change.
a polymer which is obtained by the polmerisation of only one type of monomer is known as a homopolymer eg:teflon, polyetheleyne etc...if it is constituted of more than one type of monomer( simpler units) then the polymer is known as copolymereg:dacron, buna s etc
Homo = same, homogenous. Hetero = different. So, the homopolysaccharide is made of of many of the same sugars in it's chain. While the heteropolysaccahride is made of of different type sugars in ot's chain.

The proteins molecules are bigger.
The glucose monosaccharide would be absorbed more easily than the disaccharide.
A polymer.

They are different than everyone else

heteropolysaccharides are composed of more than one monosaccharides and can contain chemical decorations (e.g. pyryvl, acetyl and succinyl). Succinoglycan is a simple example of heteropolysaccharide.
well you are different from other employees because they are a different person than you. you are not the same as them
polysaccharides have more chemical bond
