This is not too bad of a job. Just remove the nuts (There should be 2 that hold the assembly). One of the nuts on mine was rusted bad, so I had to cut through it with a dremmel. Then I used a pickle fork/ joint seperator to separate the old ball joint. Murray's has joint seperator kits as a part of their tool loaner program, so you don't have to buy one just for this job. I slid the new ball joint reassembled and was ready to go! if you don't have a fork then just take the nuts off and and turn the steering wheel back and forth realy hard and fast and sometimes it will come strait out
