The only organelle that I know of that is in the animal cell, but not in the plant cell, is the centriole. The centriole, located in the centrosome of an animal cell, is a barrel-shaped organelle made up of nine triplets of microtubules. Its function in the cell is to separate chromosomes during a cell division called mitosis. When mitosis occurs, the mother cell duplicates itself, then seperates into two new daughter cells. The mother cell no longer exsists after mitosis. Plant cells do not need centrioles to separate. The plant cells components for cell division are the centrosomes.
animal cells contain centrioles and lysosomes which are not found in typical plant cells......
A centride is a point in a triangular diagram that represents the center of mass of the three components or variables being considered. It is often used in geology to analyze the composition of rocks or minerals.
The heat output of a fluorescent tube is relatively low compared to its light output. Fluorescent tubes are efficient at converting electricity into light, producing less heat than traditional incandescent bulbs. However, they still generate some heat due to the energy losses in the system.
If you take a look at a map, you'll be able to spot a few things, like a 'north' sign, a legend and the scale. The north sign is used to get an easy orientation, the legend is used to indicate the meaning of all the symbols used in the map and the scale is used to show distances in the map. The scale is a ratio of distance on the map to the actual distance it is meant to represent on the land. Example: generally scales are represented as 1:2000000 or 1:1000 or 1:5000 etc., and the commonly used units are cm(centimeters) and mm(millimeters). It means that one unit on the map is the equal to 2000000 units (in case of scale 1:2000000) or 1000 unit (in case of scale 1:1000) on the earth (on actual land). Let me explain how it works. If you take a ruler/rule and measure (let's say) 1 unit on a map and multiply it with the denominator i.e., 2000000 for a scale of 1:2000000, 1000 for a scale of 1:1000. So we get: 1unit x 2000000 = 2000000 unit or 1unit x 1000 = 1000 unit So it means that 1 unit on the map is equal to 2000000 units on real land. So if the scale is for centimeters, then it means that 1 cm on the map is equal to 2 kilometers on real land.
you cant/this is not an answerAfter researching bentley lighters, which I collect,I found the company that owns the name is most likely a rip off much like the watch co. Krug bauman.Selling $2 watches w/retail price of $800 for $200 and up.They take out ads in hi-buck magazines to show people their hi buck watches are the real deal, but can get you that special price.that price is whatever the sucker,er,em buyer will fork out.Sold by bartenders, doormen ant one in contact w/ gullible people.Price can be as low as $20 for a $1,000 watch,"see?they're right here for $1,000 in This Is What Snobs Wear magazine".Back to the lighter scam.I asked about the lifetime warranty offered by the original Bentley lighter co.That I think was based in Canada w/lighters made in austria. They skirted all around the use of the word warranty and directed me to a butane valve manufacturer in austria tthat could possibly attach a new valve that would allow refill. That is one reason the answer offered by someone on this site"CAN'T"is not an answer and defeats the purpose of this forum.I refilled on of these refill tanks that are not made anymore,by holding up the gizmo that releades the butane when you hit the trigger.I had the tank in the freezer to reduce pressure inside then hit it with a ronson butane refill tank. This leads me to believe there is a way to capture the gas from the throwaway. Now,any help besides"CAN'T"?
A bi-metallic strip is made of two different metals. (Duh!) Each metal has its OWN coefficient of thermal expansion, so when it heats up, one side expands more than the other does. The side that expands more causes the strip to bend toward the side that expands less.
