you cant/this is not an answerAfter researching bentley lighters, which I collect,I found the company that owns the name is most likely a rip off much like the watch co. Krug bauman.Selling $2 watches w/retail price of $800 for $200 and up.They take out ads in hi-buck magazines to show people their hi buck watches are the real deal, but can get you that special price.that price is whatever the sucker,er,em buyer will fork out.Sold by bartenders, doormen ant one in contact w/ gullible people.Price can be as low as $20 for a $1,000 watch,"see?they're right here for $1,000 in This Is What Snobs Wear magazine".Back to the lighter scam.I asked about the lifetime warranty offered by the original Bentley lighter co.That I think was based in Canada w/lighters made in Austria. They skirted all around the use of the word warranty and directed me to a butane valve manufacturer in austria tthat could possibly attach a new valve that would allow refill. That is one reason the answer offered by someone on this site"CAN'T"is not an answer and defeats the purpose of this forum.I refilled on of these refill tanks that are not made anymore,by holding up the gizmo that releades the butane when you hit the trigger.I had the tank in the freezer to reduce pressure inside then hit it with a ronson butane refill tank. This leads me to believe there is a way to capture the gas from the throwaway. Now,any help besides"CAN'T"?
Refilling butane lighters can be dangerous if not done properly. It is important to use the correct type of butane fuel, do not overfill the lighter, and make sure there are no open flames nearby. It is also recommended to refill lighters in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling the butane gas.
Orthodox gas for lighters typically refers to butane gas, which is a common fuel used in refillable lighters. It is a colorless, odorless gas that is easily ignited to produce a clean-burning flame, making it suitable for various types of lighters such as torch lighters and cigarette lighters.
Butane gas is typically used in BIC lighters. It is a colorless gas that is extracted from natural gas or petroleum refining processes.
Butane is commonly used in lighters to create a blue flame. You can use butane in a regular lighter, but for a more consistent blue flame, you might want to use a torch lighter that is specifically designed for butane. These lighters typically have higher pressure and produce a more intense flame.
No, cigarettes are not made with butane. Cigarettes are typically made from tobacco leaves that are treated and processed, then rolled into a cylindrical shape. Butane is a highly flammable gas that is not used in the production of cigarettes.
In normal disposable lighters like bic it is butane gas, in Zippo lighters you can use most liquid that lights with a spark, but most people just use zippo brand naptha fuel.
You can use butane as a fuel for portable stoves and cigarette lighters

The butane lighter was invented by George G. Blaisdell, who founded the Zippo Manufacturing Company in the 1930s. Blaisdell developed the first Zippo lighter, which used butane as a fuel source, and it quickly became a popular alternative to traditional lighters.
I have a product manual for a WIN lighter that indicates for a #1400, #1900, #2100 series ...BUTANE FUEL will give best results. In fact, it advertises WIN BUTANE FUEL and WIN flints. Hope this helps. Diana
No, butane is a hydrocarbon and is not acidic.
A cigarette lighter is a device to light cigarettes. They are typically electric or gas-powered. Disposable cigarette lighters burn butane gas. Some reusable lighters use butane, while others use lighter fluid which is poured into a cotton wadding. Car cigarette lighters and wall-mounted cigarette lighters are electric. Electric lighters heat a coil of wire, and the cigarette is placed against the heated wire as the smoker puffs. In cars, lighter sockets provide other functionality, and can be used to operate laptops, charge cell phones, play games, watch television, power lights, and more.
Piezoelectric discharge (some butane lighters)
Butane lighters burn hotter but use up fuel fast compared to regular lighter fluid lighters which do not burn as hot but do not use up fuel as fast.**The answer is found in chemistry. Butane is a specific chemical, ie. C4H10; an alkane with four carbons and ten hydrogens. Lighter fluid is not so specific in its contents - it is generally defined as a highly combustible (thus high octane) hydrocarbon; Naptha.
The anagram is butane (used for home cooking, and for lighters).
