Belladonna is a poisonous flowering plant so I'm not sure what it has in common with rhubarb, which is edible, as far as I know they're not related. I believe the tomato is distantly related to the Belladonna which is why people a long time ago thought it was poisonous as well. I'm not familiar with the other two plants, someone posted jack in the pulpit has edible leaves(?) No part of the Belladonna is edible! But it was used in folk and Native American medicine and is still used in small quantities in homeopathic medicine, such as for acne but not enough to be harmful. I found out jack/pulpit is poisonous as well and grows from a corm. Dogbane secretes a milky substance as does belladonna and is poisonous as well. So 3 of the 4 are poisonous....rhubarb has roots that can be used as a laxative, but it's not poisonous. So I really don't know if they have much in common.
The tall, branching perennial plant can grow to a height of at least 5 ft (1.5 m),and can be identified by its bell-shaped, purple flowers and cherry-sized green berries that mature to a dark purple or black color.
The aerial parts of the lobelia plant, including the leaves and sometimes the flowers, are primarily used for medicinal purposes. These parts contain active compounds that are used in herbal medicine for respiratory issues, such as asthma and bronchitis.

Belladonna, also known as deadly nightshade (scientific name: Atropa belladonna), is a highly toxic plant native to Europe, North Africa, and Western Asia. It contains alkaloids such as atropine, scopolamine, and hyoscyamine, which can cause severe poisoning if ingested. Historically, belladonna has been used for various medicinal purposes, but its toxicity makes it dangerous. The name "belladonna" means "beautiful lady" in Italian, as women in the Renaissance used its extracts to dilate their pupils for cosmetic purposes.
